Developer: Minimal Habits

Cactara ("the app", "we", "us") is a habit tracker, budget planner and daily planner, with optional smoking-reduction tracking. Cactara was previously called Pace; only the name has changed, and this policy covers both. It explains what information is involved when you use Cactara, and what is — and is not — collected. Cactara is local-first: the information you enter stays on your device. We do not run a server that stores your personal data, and there is no account or sign-up.

1. Information you enter, stored only on your device

Everything you create in Cactara is saved in your device's local storage and is never transmitted to us or anyone else. This includes:

Your name, and an optional profile photo
Your habits, schedules, daily check-ins, streaks and goals — including water, steps, exercise, meditation, sleep and, if you use it, your smoking plan and logs
Your mood check-ins, gratitude entries, and check-in notes and photos
Your tasks, daily routines, reminders and Essentials checklist
Your budget and finances — income, expenses, bills, subscriptions, debts, savings goals and the currency you choose

Photos you attach (a profile picture or a photo on a check-in note) are picked from your device and stored inside the app; they are not uploaded anywhere. This data remains on your device until you delete it in the app, clear the app's storage, or uninstall Cactara — at which point it is gone. Because it never leaves your device, we cannot access, recover, or delete it for you.

If you choose to export your money history (CSV), Cactara creates the file on your device and opens your phone's share sheet. Where that file goes is your choice; we never receive a copy.

2. Information handled by third-party services

Cactara uses the services below to do specific jobs. We do not receive your personal data from them.

Google AdMob	Shows ads to users who are not subscribed to Premium	Advertising identifier, device information, and approximate (coarse) location, used to serve and measure ads. Ads may be personalized where this is allowed: in the EEA, UK and Switzerland only if you consent, and elsewhere by default. Users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before any ad is requested. You can turn off ad personalization in your device's ad settings.
RevenueCat	Manages Premium subscriptions and in-app purchases	Purchase history and an app-generated anonymous identifier. It does not receive your name, logs, or other app content.
Google Play Billing	Processes payments for purchases	Payment is handled entirely by Google Play. Cactara never sees or stores your card or payment details.
Web3Forms	Delivers the optional "Suggest a feature" message to us	Only the text you type, sent when you tap Send suggestion. No name, email address, or app data is attached. If sending fails, Cactara opens your own email app instead, and you decide whether to send it.

3. Health Connect (optional)
